Get To Know Me! 

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had an immense love for education, but it truly blossomed during the summers I spent helping my little sister. I would tutor her in various subjects, and those quiet moments at the kitchen table, where I explained things and watched her confidence soar, felt like magic. There, I discovered just how powerful and rewarding it is to help someone learn! One of my biggest inspirations on this journey has been my third-grade teacher. Her kindness, patience, and genuine passion for teaching lit a spark in me that has never dulled.

Joining Georgia College opened my eyes even wider to the incredible world of education! My hands-on experiences through coursework and field placements have taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and listening to students. I’ve worked with different grade levels, including Pre-K, Second Grade, and Fifth Grade, and each experience has only added to my passion and excitement for this career!

When I’m not immersed in academics, I treasure my time with friends and family. Our trips to Hilton Head are some of my favorite adventures—something about that place feels like paradise! I also profoundly love reading; getting lost in a good book is like escaping to another world. On campus, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and soaking in the little moments that make college life so much fun. And I can’t forget to mention my sweet dog, Annabelle, who brings me so much joy. You’ll likely find me unwinding with reality TV shows or cheering on a football game during the season!

At the heart of everything I do, my life motto guides me: “Everything happens for a reason.” It reminds me to stay grounded and to find purpose in every challenge and success. My journey in education is just beginning, but it already feels like a calling that’s been with me all along, and I can’t wait to see where it leads me!
